Fashion's Night Out

We can both wholeheartedly agree September 10th 2010, Fashion's Night Out is a night that we will never forget. Us two and a few friends traveled all over Los Angeles viewing new collections, meeting celebrities (including: Perez Hilton, Taylor Jacobson, and Stephanie Pratt) and collecting goodie bags. The Beverly Center Mall held an epic fashion show with designs from Bloomingdales, Forever 21, Bebe, and Traffic (our new fave store). After that we quickly walked over to Robertson Blvd where Diavolina was giving away goodie bags full of leggings, we visited a few more boutiques and then ventured to Rodeo where we rode the ferris wheel countless times. From getting manicures at Chanel to the Beverly Center Fashion Show we were overwhelmed with excitement!

New Fall Givenchy

These new Givenchy Bags for fall are stunning. They are by far some of the best fall bags we have seen. Being there are so many sizes, colors, and options to chose from we can't help but feel the need to start a collection! Time to shop dolls!

Gold Rush

Costume jewelry has always been one thing we simply adore. We can't even begin to say how much we adore these beauties! We die to put them on every finger, if of course we had a total of $150,000 to spend. But on the plus side, similar ones can be found at the Rose-bowl flea market....so keep an eye out dolls!

New York Fashion Week is no doubt our favorite time of the year, all of the new styles and exciting designs literally make us jump for joy. We can only wish that we could attend but being we are LA natives, and school is in session it would take a lot out of our schedules, and besides we would need an invite first! We can't wait to see all of the trend reports and get the 411, pictures will be up soon.

Summer Lovin' : Part 2

Now that summer has officially come to an end, and most schools are back in session all we can do is remember our favorite parts of our favorite season. Some of which include
1. spending the majority of my summer in London,Cambridge, and Paris
2. interning for one on my favorite designers, Cynthia Vincent
3. spending Sunday mornings attacking the farmers market and flea markets all over L.A.
4. spending countless hours by the pool eating homemade popsicles
5. hitting up the most spectacular boutiques in Europe
6. eating our weight in spicy tuna

Although a few of those things will continue into the fall (#3/#6) we truly will miss summer, but now its time to fall into autumn.

Urban L♡ve

As I ventured to Urban Outiffters, I picked out a few of my fave items to get me prepared for a new year. 1.) A great coffee mug full of jokes, 2.) Some great hair accessories needed to spruse up an outfit, 3.) A cozy blanket to keep me warm, and 4.) Some fun tights under those winter shorts...paired with boots of course!!!

All torn up

As one would assume from reading our blog, we are head over heels for Alexander Wang. I am seen sporting a personal favorite, no other than his "striped drape back top". This purchase is worth every penny; we simply love the rebel vibe this sweater-vest gives off, yet it also has a feminine side; the back is cut out and cowled. I paired this outfit with a pair of Dolce Vita pumps. The low arch is almost like wearing a wedge but still getting that high stilletto look!!!

Summer Lovin' : Part 1

After a long joyous summer of internships and travels, traveling back to L.A. for the start of school wasn't as awful as one would think. When we returned, we quickly met up together (Ava and I) to discuss upcoming posts, new posts mean new clothes which gave us a new reason to shop. As seen here, I (blonde) am wearing my favorite vintage Miu Miu wedges (as seen in the post "gifted, thrifted, borrowed"), a body bandeau which folds over to make a wonderful skirt, and a crop top from my favorite designer T by Alexander wang. This look consisted of some pretty dull pieces, so I spruced it up with vintage chunky necklaces. Ava decided to dress down and was photographed in a vintage military jacked, vintage ripped shorts, and Forever 21 black mary-janes ( similar to what is seen in post "Summer Daise"). As summer comes to a close we say goodbye to our favorite bikinis and begin to unpack our winter coats.
